Compensation Range: $70,000 – 100,000 per yearWe are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to oversee and maintain our company’s IT infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our technology environment, including both virtual and physical servers, network security, cloud services, and endpoint devices. The IT Manager will also lead a team of technical support staff, manage vendor relationships, and drive strategic IT initiatives.Why Join Us?

Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Manage a hybrid infrastructure environment including VMware and physical servers.
• Administer DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy, file servers, and RDS servers.
• Maintain and support Office 365, Azure services, and SonicWall firewalls.
• Oversee desktops, printers, and peripheral equipment across the organization.

Cloud & Backup Solutions

• Ensure reliable data protection using Veeam and Cove, with backups pushed to cloud storage.
• Manage endpoint protection tools such as Cylance and CrowdStrike.

IT Operations & Support

• Lead a technical support team handling both internal users and customer support calls, including those related to proprietary enterprise software.
• Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to support business continuity and data security.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support and ensure timely resolution of complex issues.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Manage purchasing of IT hardware, software, and services.
• Oversee software licensing agreements and negotiate contracts with IT vendors.

Project Management

• Lead IT-related upgrades and initiatives, including virtualization upgrades and hardware refresh cycles.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess needs and recommend technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Expertise with VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and RDS environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Kaseya, and backup technologies like Veeam and Cove.
• Experience with network and endpoint security tools (e.g., Cylance, CrowdStrike).
• Track record of success in vendor negotiation and managing software/hardware procurement.
• Excellent interpersonal, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting enterprise software in a client-facing environment.
• Background in the public sector, government software, or property appraisal systems.
• Familiarity with SonicWall and network security configurations.

Technical Skills:

• VMware (vSphere, ESXi) – virtualization and host management.
• Windows Server Administration (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
• Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Microsoft Office 365 – Exchange, SharePoint, Teams.
• Azure Active Directory – hybrid identity, user provisioning.
• SonicWall – firewall and VPN configuration.
• Backup Solutions – Veeam, Cove, Backblaze
• Endpoint Security – Cylance, CrowdStrike
• Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) – Kaseya or similar tools
• Hardware Support – desktops, printers, peripherals

• IT procurement and asset lifecycle management.
• Vendor negotiation and contract management.

• Team supervision and staff development.
• Cross-functional collaboration with executive leadership and departments.
• Technical training and documentation.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prioritization and incident escalation management.

Analytical & Problem-Solving

• Diagnosing and resolving complex IT issues.
• Risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Process improvement and systems optimization.
• Change management and business continuity planning.
