The individual manages software releases, minimizing incident/problem impacts to the enterprise, and implementing new solutions are also responsibilities of the position.Key Responsibilities

  • Serves as an expert and guides others in the resolution of the most complex incidents and problems.
  • Leads architecture discussions around design, data integration, recoverability and resiliency and leads complex discussions with users on large database designs.
  • Analyzes complex queries tuning, statistics, and performance of subsystem, CPU, IO, and memory.
  • Leads additional research into technology that provides improved resiliency and recovery of databases.
  • Creates operational agreements with other infrastructure support areas.
  • Designs database maintenance and upgrade processes and provides incident/problem management support.
  • Designs, writes, and teaches full classes on complex topics; may include Road show and Technology/Development sessions with clients.

Education

  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred).

Experience

  • 7 or more years of experience (Preferred).

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

CompensationBase compensation offered for this role is $104,000.00 – $130,000.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.*** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e., commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.At National General, great things happen when our people work together.
