Advises students, faculty, and administrative staff on regulations governing privacy. 12. Prepares and presents prospective student curriculums to Dean. 13. The Associate Registrar is responsible for systems and information management, registration, data reporting and student data analysis to support the implementation of the Law School and University academic policies and procedures, and to improve systems and applications through workflow analysis, business systems re-engineering and training.The successful incumbent will work to: Lead the YLS Registrar’s Office in systems management, including but not limited to, ongoing support of the student information systems (Banner, ApplicationXtender, DegreeWorks), the online examination system, supplemental databases and associated reporting. Provide critical ad hoc and routine academic data reports while maintaining organized records related to data analysis and reporting. Collaborate with third-party vendors and ITS, including business process analysis, requirement definitions, and data validations to support the implementation and maintenance of data integrations. Serve as an initial point of contact for technology system issues impacting registrar applications.Develop and maintain YLS Registrar user testing plans and reporting catalog. Coordinate registration, including course setup and maintenance, Law School pre-registration period and the open add/drop period. Create website content, documentation, and training materials Deliver effective service communication through email, web presence, and formal publications. Identify and assess new functionality and recommend sustainable changes to improve student services and data flow efficiency. Act as steward for academic information and manage data for accuracy.
